You may have already seen the craze of rice water all over your socials but we're going to take the time and make this craze just a tad bit easier for us naturally lost girls to understand. Rice water is simply rice that has been fermented in water. Some people keep their rice water in jars for decades and others choose not to pour smelly bacteria infested water on their hair as they will only let the rice ferment for 30min. Personally, I've been told that 30 minutes is enough time for the rice to ferment and be just as effective without that appalling smell. Rice water contains and abundance of vitamins and minerals such as amino acids, vitamin B, Vitamin E, and even antioxidants. According to researchers, this tactic originated from women in the Heian period in Japan. (Chilllllleee this rice water helped them achieve floor-length hair.) Soo now that we have some background info let me give you a handy dandy infographic . The most effective way to use it...
Do this method for a couple of weeks on your wash days and the inches will F L O W !
P.S. if you don't mind the smell keep a couple of jars on deck for future uses. That way you will be consistent with the method.
~ peace out naturally lost girls <3
